It can be used for low temperature soldering and for hermetic sealing. It can be stamped and cut into preforms. ChipQuik SMDIN100 (In100) products are suitable for cryogenic sealing applications. The pure indium in these products will remain malleable at cryogenic temperatures, -150C to -273C (-238F to -460F), so that the seal it creates will not be compromised.
